Tour Volunteers
Hundreds of volunteers are necessary to ensure the enjoyment and safety of our visitors to the Hudson Home and Garden Tour. The volunteers consist of Hudson Garden Club members, property owners, friends, other community-minded individuals
who are proud to call Hudson, Ohio their home. Occasionally, additional volunteers are sought for some of our positions to help make the Tour a success. These positions are listed below with a short description of each one. Click

Mats and Gear, and set-up/take down signage
Job Description: Mats: receive mats (approx. 12, 4×6 size) from rental company
deliver to houses day before the Tour along with benches and stair treads (that are in
our storage unit). Signs: In our storage unit we have signs that are used to direct tour
guests to the homes, signs to direct to Ticket Tent/Garden shop. After the Tour is over
collect all, return to storage unit and arrange for mat rental company to pick up mats
from you.
Garden Shop
Job Description: Garden Shop (East Woods School) volunteers will help to keep plants
watered and fresh looking, answer questions, consolidate sale items as needed, help transport items to patrons’ vehicles.
Traffic and Safety, including Van Drivers for all Homes and Gardens
Job Description: Traffic & Safety volunteers will wear a green vest and direct
traffic/parking as needed. Van drivers may be needed to shuttle guests between a
parking area (to be determined) and one of the Tour properties.
